Brampton is one of our most active GTA markets, and our crews know the city well. We have worked across older established areas like Downtown Brampton, Peel Village, and Bramalea, as well as newer subdivisions in Mount Pleasant, Fletcher's Meadow, Springdale, and Castlemore. Each part of the city brings its own site conditions:
- Older neighbourhoods often have mature trees, narrow side-yard access, and detached garages that need to be worked around during delivery
- Newer subdivisions in north and west Brampton typically have flatter lots but tighter fence-line setback constraints
- Properties near the Etobicoke Creek or Credit River corridors may fall under Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) or Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) regulated areas, which can affect where a structure is allowed to sit
Because Brampton sits inside our regular GTA install zone, we do not charge travel fees for site visits, and we can typically be on-site within a few days of a confirmed booking.

Permits in Brampton, Ontario
Quick Permit Notes
Brampton has its own threshold for accessory structures that is stricter than the provincial baseline. In most cases:
- A building permit is required for any accessory structure 10 m² (about 108 sq ft) or larger
- A single accessory structure cannot exceed 15 m² (161 sq ft), and the combined area of all accessory structures on a lot cannot exceed 20 m² (215 sq ft)
- Setbacks are typically 0.6 m (2 ft) from all property lines
- Maximum height is 3 m (about 9 ft 9 in)
- Accessory structures are permitted in rear yards only, not front or side yards
- Mature Neighbourhood areas, corner lots, ravine-adjacent lots, and larger rural or estate residential lots may have different requirements
Properties near regulated watercourses may also need approval from Credit Valley Conservation or the TRCA. We recommend confirming current requirements with the City of Brampton Zoning Services before finalizing your build.
