Greg Wideman reached out to us with a vision: a backyard studio at his cottage up north. After discussing options including a full build and our prefab backyard office kits, Greg decided the Studio kit was the perfect solution. With a bit of DIY know-how and a strong desire to be involved in the design process, Greg was ready to roll up his sleeves.

Every home office build we take on is a collaborative journey. For Greg, two priorities stood out: functionality and aesthetics. The studio needed to flow with the existing look of his cottage. Together, we chose cedar siding, and we provided multiple stain samples to help him get just the right tone. Greg planned to re-stain both structures, creating a beautifully cohesive feel.
