The front and right walls are clad in 1x6 horizontal premium tight-knot pine tongue and groove, stained Kendall Charcoal. That colour sits somewhere between slate and graphite — in flat midday light it reads as a deep, serious grey, and in morning or evening sun it warms slightly, picking up the undertones in the wood grain underneath. It does not fight for attention. It earns it quietly.

The left and back walls are corrugated 7/8" steel in Jet Black, with matching black steel trim and flashing throughout. Up against the pine, the steel adds contrast without disruption. The two materials read as a deliberate pairing: the warmth of wood on the faces you see, the durability of steel on the faces that take weather. The exposed soffits, stained Black Beauty, pull the roofline into the same palette and give the whole structure a resolved, finished look from every angle.

The window operates on an electric crank with remote control, so it opens and closes without tools, without effort, and without having to prop anything up. The shed's front wall was built to 9 feet to accommodate the window's 44-inch opening height, and the roof overhang at the front runs 30 inches to keep weather off the ledge when the window is up.
