The front wall and the full right wall break from the steel with 1x6 horizontal tight-knot pine tongue-and-groove panelling, stained Black Beauty. The stain is dark enough to unify with the steel at a glance, but up close you can see the grain, the knots, the wood doing what wood does. It keeps the front face from reading as industrial. The two materials work the same colour range but speak different languages, and that contrast is exactly what makes this shed worth looking at.
