Three walls of the shed are wrapped in 7/8" corrugated steel in Charcoal, and the colour behaves differently depending on the light. In direct sun it reads as a deep, warm grey. In the shade of the surrounding trees, it gets darker and cooler, closer to a true charcoal. It is not a flat colour. There is enough texture in the corrugation to give it some depth, and enough variation in the steel finish to keep it from looking like a plain box.

The front wall is a different material entirely: 1x6 horizontal premium tight-knot pine T+G, stained in Muskoka Brown.
