Mississauga is one of our most consistent GTA markets. We have completed builds across the city, from the established lakefront neighbourhoods like Lorne Park, Mineola, and Port Credit through the central Cooksville and Streetsville areas to the newer subdivisions in Churchill Meadows, Lisgar, and Meadowvale. Mississauga's mix of mature lots and contemporary new builds means our work here spans compact storage sheds, full backyard studios, pool sheds, and custom cabanas. Most installs are completed in a single day.

Mississauga homeowners tend to invest in their backyards seriously. Properties here are often larger than central Toronto lots, with mature landscaping, established trees, and homes that have set the design tone for the property. A backyard structure has to belong to that picture, not look like it was added as an afterthought.
That is the work we do. Every Mississauga build starts with a design conversation about what the structure needs to do, how it should sit on the lot, and how it should look against your existing home and landscaping.
Practical reasons Mississauga homeowners work with us:
- We are about 2 to 2.5 hours from our shop, well within our standard GTA delivery zone
- Single-day installs minimize disruption to your property and routine
- We know Mississauga's lot-size-dependent accessory building rules and can advise on design within them from day one
- We handle the permit process and engineered drawings for larger builds
- Post-install support is straightforward because we handle our own builds end to end, no third-party contractors
Whether you need a clean storage shed in Erin Mills or a fully-finished pool shed by Lake Ontario, the design and build process is the same: structure-first thinking, premium materials, and a finished product that works for decades.

Permits in Mississauga
Quick Permit Notes
Mississauga's accessory building rules vary based on your lot size, which is unique compared to most Ontario cities.
For lots under 750 m² (about 8,073 sq ft):
- Each accessory building may not exceed 10 m² (about 108 sq ft)
- Total combined accessory buildings may not exceed 30 m² (about 323 sq ft)
For lots 750 m² or larger:
- Each accessory building may not exceed 20 m² (about 215 sq ft)
- Total combined accessory buildings may not exceed 60 m² (about 645 sq ft)
Other key Mississauga rules:
- Minimum setback from side and rear lot lines: 0.61 m (about 2 feet)
- Maximum height: 3.0 m (about 10 feet) measured from grade
- Maximum lot coverage by all accessory buildings combined: 5% of lot area
- Lots adjacent to greenland zones may have additional setback requirements
Sheds with plumbing or those attached to another structure require a building permit regardless of size. For builds that exceed the permit-free thresholds above, we handle the engineered drawings and permit application process.
Always confirm specific zoning requirements for your address with City of Mississauga Planning at 311 (or 905-615-4311 outside city limits), as rules can vary by zoning district.
