Have you ever considered how a pool shed could also be a gathering place? Pool sheds are great for efficiency, organization, and practicality, but they can also be great for shared experiences with family and friends. In a design, we can put in a window with a roll up shutter door, and add a bar countertop to create your very own backyard bar area. We call it a bar shed. Then, when you have people over, they can either lounge by the pool or sit up at the bar counter sipping their preferred cool beverage. In the bar shed, with good organization, you can arrange space for all the pool equipment that needs to be stored, but also have a mini fridge and a stock of yummy snacks for all to enjoy and munch on without having to run in and out of the house constantly. It is all conveniently right there in the pool shed, and is also wrapped up by an enjoyable experience.
This bar shed, in particular, is located in a Tillsonburg backyard. It’s 12'x8' in size with premium pine tongue and groove siding, and set nicely by the inground pool. There is a double sliding barn door on the front of this pool shed, and the bar window on the side. The bar window has aluminum roll up shutters, with a 12x68 bar ledge made with unfinished pine. The roof has an overhang over the bar ledge, so as people sit on the stools to enjoy a drink, there is some shade provided from the heat of the sun. Toss a few speakers in the corners, and you have an all around great backyard summer set up!
Here is what Shawn had to say about the process of building this bar shed for his backyard:
“Extremely pleased with this local business. Very professional yet friendly service. They excel in customer service and ensure all details are taken care of. We would highly recommend them!”
We are excited to work with more clients on a bar shed for their backyard.
